Program Specifics
Handyman/Mini-repair Program
Provides no/low cost, high quality, and timely home repairs to senior citizens in Genesee County in order to provide safe and sanitary housing, assist in maintaining the client in their own home and assists with maintaining the marketability of the home.
Program Locations:
New York: Genesee County
Eligibility: Senior Citizen in Genesee County. No income restrictions.

HOME Canandaigua 2007
Improve housing and neighborhood conditions and to stabilize families. Provides home repair services such as structural or mechanical repairs, energy conservation upgrades, lead based paint remediation, and access upgrades for persons with disabilities.
Program Locations:
New York: Ontario County
Eligibility: City of Canandaigua only. Income limited to 50 % of Rochester MSA AMI. You must own your home with taxes and insurance up to date. Provides a grant up to 50% of the cost or repairs with a maximum subsidy of $15,000.

NYSERDA Assisted Home Performance (Home Energy Solutions)
The Assisted Home Performance Program helps income-eligible families and individuals by reducing their heating/cooling costs and improving the safety of their homes through energy efficiency measures. The program provides a 50% grant up to $5000 and the home owner will be responsible for the other %50 of the cost. You may access the revolving loan fund for your expenses paid.
If you are above the income guidlines please visit Home Energy Solutions where you can qualify for a %10 rebate for working with our certified contractors.

Eligibility:
80% of area median income. The program does not accept houses with municipality electric.

Orleans County Acquisition, Rehab, Resale Program
PathStone purchases dilapidated homes, rehabilitates them and sells them to first-time home buyers. This service improves existing housing conditions and value by the elimination of health/safety hazards and removal of barriers to accessibility.

Revolving Loan Fund
Improves housing conditions and housing energy consumption through the provision of low interest loans.
Program Locations:
New York - statewide
Eligibility: Income limit 100% of Rochester MSA AMI. Minimum loan amount $1,000, Maximum loan amount $15,000. Lien recorded on loans over $3,000. For repairs, energy conservation improvements and environmental modifications and/or access for disabled. No cosmetic or other improvements except as noted.

Weatherization Assistance Program
The Weatherization Assistance Program assists income-eligible families and individuals by reducing their heating/cooling costs and improving the safety of their homes through energy efficiency measures in homes or rented property free of charge.

The program consists of a four step process: application, audit, weatherization and then a follow up inspection. Once we have completed the audit of your home, we may begin a range of free services depending on our findings:
* Addition of insulation to walls or ceilings
* Reduce heat loss and cold air drafts
* Cleaning, testing, repairs or replacements of heating systems
* Weatherstriping and caulking around doors and windows
* Repair cracks and broken glass in windows or doors
* Address moisture issues, health and safety, and comfort issues concerned with your home
* Minor repairs as needed to ensure maximum efficiency from weatherization services
