Work in conjunction with the Section 8 Program to assist low income individuals and families, which include homeless, disabled, minority group members and single parents, to secure permanent, affordable housing with the goal of an improved quality of life and self-sufficiency. Position maintains an overall caseload of 300-325 participants, and ensures program compliance of participants.
Candidate should possess an Associate Degree in human services field and one year of experience,
or three years’ experience working with economically and socially disadvantaged individuals and families. Position requires basic arithmetic and strong written skills. Computer proficiency with Word, Outlook, Excel, Power Point, Access and Excel programs is a must, and data entry helpful. Must be able to articulate and describe housing program guidelines. Must be well organized and be able to multi task. Candidate should actively pursue knowledge of diversity and inclusiveness. Candidate will be required to attend all trainings and conferences necessary. Must be a team player and work well with all departments. Seek and act upon performance feedback. Must learn & have a clear understanding of federal and state housing regulations, and apply them properly. Must complete all work assigned, and meet monthly deadlines. Applicant should possess case management and housing experience.

Base hourly rate is $14.27 with a significant range based upon demonstrated experience and qualifications.
