Site to increase awareness, education and reach of PathStone’s energy services and Weatherization Assistance Program
Rochester, NY (April 7, 2011) - PathStone’s Housing Rehabilitation and Energy Services Department launched a new department website today. The goal of the new site is to increase PathStone’s energy services visibility in Monroe and surrounding counties, and provide the public with easier access to helpful energy information.
Visitors to the site can find information on all of the energy services the department offers, as well as specific eligibility requirements and the application process. Since 1988, PathStone has provided over 2,800 constituents with weatherization services.
Through outreach efforts on the new site, PathStone provides the opportunity for other businesses, town halls, affinity partners, and surrounding Weatherization Assistance Programs to link up, share information, and educate the public on energy services.
The new website also features a Frequently Asked Questions page, offering detailed answers to many of the company’s daily questions. Eligibility, program, and home improvement questions are answered on this page.
The PathStone Weatherization Assistance Program assists income-eligible families and individuals to reduce heating/cooling costs and improve the safety of homes. PathStone delivers energy efficiency measures free of charge to homes or rented property outside of city limits in Monroe County.
