PathStone’s Al Hartsig is quoted in an article in The Buffalo News Business Today.   The article has advice for  financing your business with alternatives to banks.

“Al Hartsig, business development officer with the PathStone Enterprise Center in Rochester, cautioned small-business people against applying for loans from multiple institutions at once, a practice that he said can end up hurting their credit score. A better approach, he said, is to “go to the banks and interview them.”
